Pet retailers and stores

A till built for a pet shop counter

Scan it, sell it, and watch the shelf count drop as you do. Tax handled per line, suppliers in the same system, drawer counted at close.

The problems

What this actually fixes

Not a feature list. The things that go wrong on a normal week.

  • 01

The stock sheet is fiction by Wednesday

Every sale takes it off the shelf as you bill. The number on screen is the number on the shelf.

  • 02

Bags of food going out of date on the shelf

Expiry tracked per batch, with warnings before it becomes a write-off.

  • 03

A basket of food, a medicine and a groom on one bill

Tax is set on the product and applied per line, so a mixed basket bills correctly without anyone deciding at the counter.

  • 04

You only find out you are out of something when a customer asks

Low-stock alerts on the dashboard, with reorder points on the lines that matter.

  • 05

    The till never reconciles

Day close: count the drawer, record the variance, sign it off that evening rather than three weeks later.

FAQ

Pet shop software questions

Does it handle GST with HSN codes?
Yes. Each product carries its own HSN and rate, printed per invoice line, with CGST and SGST split on within-state sales and IGST on inter-state.
Can I manage suppliers and purchase orders?
Yes. Raise a PO, receive stock against it, and keep what you owe suppliers in the same system as what customers owe you.
Does it work with a barcode scanner?
Yes, any standard USB or Bluetooth scanner that types like a keyboard.
