Software for pet businesses

Book it. Groom it.
Board it. Bill it.

Who it's for

One chair or twenty runs

You switch on the parts you use and ignore the rest. A single-chair salon and a six-branch resort run the same software, set up differently.

  • A dog groomer bathing a small dog in a professional grooming salon.
    01

    Grooming salons

A board the whole salon can see. Prices that already know the breed. Commission that adds itself up.

  • A group of happy dogs standing behind a fence in a boarding kennel yard.
    02

    Boarding & daycare

Who's in which run, who leaves Friday, and a daily log the owner is glad to read.

  • A veterinarian examining a dog during a routine checkup.
    03

    Vet clinics

Consults, jabs and scripts on the same file the groomer reads. Boosters that chase themselves.

  • A diverse group of dogs enjoying playtime outdoors at a pet daycare facility.
    04

    Multi-service places

A dog can be groomed, boarded and seen by the vet on one visit, and leave with one bill.

  • A groomer working with a dog, photographed close up.
    05

    Mobile groomers

Built for the phone in your hand. Photos from the camera, tables that become cards, buttons you can hit one-handed.

  • A pet shop counter with a vendor serving a customer.
    06

    Anyone still on a diary

A paper book works until the day someone's off and nobody can read their handwriting.

The modules

Everything the shop does, on one pet file

Your groomer sees the vet's note about the skin condition. Your boarding staff see the twice-daily meds. Your desk sees one bill. Nobody has to ring anybody.

Inside the product

This is the actual software

Not renders, not concepts. These are the screens your desk, your groomers and your boarding staff would be looking at on Monday.

One box

“Hi, it’s about Bruno.”

Type what they said — his name, your customer's name, or just the number they're ringing from. His whole history is on the screen before they've finished the sentence. A local ten-digit number still finds a contact you saved years ago with a +91 and spaces in it.

Explore Look up
Look up
The Fretso lookup screen matching a pet parent from the phone number they were calling from.

Live occupancy

You know exactly which run is free

Every stay is booked against a real kennel, so nobody can promise the same one twice on a bank holiday — the database refuses the second booking outright. Check-in reads the dog's boosters against your protocol and warns you at the door, not once he's in with twenty others.

Explore Boarding
Boarding
The Fretso occupancy board showing every kennel, which pet is in it and when they are due out.

Board & commission

The end of “I did eight, not six”

A ticket holds the dog, the groomer, the coat notes, the consent and both sets of photos. Invoice it and the commission lands in that groomer's ledger by itself, based on what you actually charged. Payday turns into a report instead of a negotiation.

Explore Grooming
Grooming
The Fretso grooming board listing tickets by pet, owner and groomer from waiting through to ready.

Why Fretso

Six reasons owners switch to it

Most pet software is a booking diary with an invoice screen bolted on the side. That's fine until you're doing grooming, boarding and a vet room at once and none of it adds up.

The full comparison
  • 01

The phone rings and you already know

Type the name they said, or the number they're calling from, and that animal's whole history is on one screen — last visit, what you did, whether his jabs are current, whether he's in your kennels right now, and whether anything's owed. No “can I call you back?”

  • 02

One file per pet, not four

Your groomer can see the vet flagged a skin condition last month. Your kennel staff can see he's on twice-daily meds. Same file, same pet, no phone call between rooms.

  • 03

The software says no, so your staff don't have to

Nobody can double-book the same groomer. Nobody can put two dogs in one run on the same night. Not a warning somebody clicks past — the database physically refuses. Your Sunday cover gets the same guardrails as your best manager.

  • 04

Staff see their job, not your business

A groomer opens Fretso and sees today's dogs and what they've earned. No takings, no other people's wages, no clinical notes they've no business reading. And the figures don't just get hidden — they never reach that browser.

  • 05

It works on the phone in your hand

Every screen is built for a phone before a desktop. Photos come straight from the camera. Buttons are big enough to hit with a lead in your other hand. Tables turn into cards instead of shrinking into nothing.

  • 06

An invoice you could show an auditor

Numbers with no gaps. Once it's issued nobody can quietly edit it — corrections are a credit note, mistakes are a void with a reason attached. And what it said is what it says: your details are copied onto it at the moment you issue.

Who sees what

Everyone sees their own job. Nothing else.

Five roles are set up before you log in. Your groomer opens the app and sees today's dogs, not last month's takings. Your receptionist can book and bill but can't edit a clinical note. When someone leaves, you switch off one login and that's the end of it.

Front desk
Takes the booking, checks them in, answers the phone with the whole file open, raises the invoice, takes the payment.
Groomer
Their own board, their own dogs, their own commission. Not your takings.
Boarding staff
Runs, check-ins, feeds, meds, the daily log, belongings back at collection.
Vet
Consult notes, vaccinations, prescriptions, and the fee for the visit.
Manager
The roster, leave approvals, the money, and the things that are already late.
Owner
All of it. Your business details, your team, your prices, every number.
Read-only
Can look, cannot change. For the accountant, or the person covering a shift.

Getting started

You've heard the horror stories. This isn't one.

Your customers, pets, products and stock come across during setup. Most single-site businesses are live inside two weeks.

  1. 01

    Demo

We show you your own shop

Twenty minutes, real screens, your services. You'll know quickly whether it fits. Nobody reads you a slide deck.

  2. 02

    Setup

    We do the boring part

Services, prices, kennels, staff, your hours, your logo on the invoices. Your customers and pets imported so day one looks like your business.

  3. 03

    Training

    Each team learns their bit

The desk learns the desk. Groomers learn the board. Nobody sits through an hour on screens they'll never open.

  4. 04

    Live

We stay close for the first month

Through your first busy Saturday and your first month-end, someone who knows the system is on the end of a message.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What people ask on the call before they buy. There are more on the FAQ page.

What does Fretso actually do?
It runs the working day of a pet business off one system: bookings, the grooming board, the kennels, clinical records, invoices, reminders, staff rotas and your numbers. The point is that they all share the same customer and the same pet, so nothing gets typed twice and nothing gets lost between systems.
Who is it for?
Grooming salons, boarding kennels, daycares, vet clinics, and the places that do several of those at once. One chair or twenty runs — you use the parts you need and ignore the rest.
Is there a till or point of sale?
No, on purpose. You already have a card machine and a UPI code, and another one wouldn't help. What you don't have is a record tying what you did to that animal to what you charged for it — so Fretso does invoices, payments against them, part payments, voids and credit notes, and leaves taking the money to the machine that already does it well.
Does it handle stock or a pharmacy?
Not today. Prescriptions are recorded against the consultation, but there's no shelf count and no dispensing. If your business lives or dies on stock control, say so on the demo and we'll tell you honestly whether to wait.
Can my customers log in?
They can book. Switch on the customer portal and you get a link for your Instagram bio or Google listing; they pick a free time and give four details, and it arrives as a request for you to accept. What they still cannot do is log in and browse their own history — there is no account and no app, and we would rather say that than sell you one.
What happens when the phone rings?
You type whatever they said into one box. Their name, the pet's name, the number they're calling from, a microchip, a booking reference. It works out which of those it is, finds them, and puts the whole history on one screen. A local ten-digit number still finds a contact you saved years ago with a +91 and spaces in it.
What about vaccinations and reminders?
Set the protocol once per species. Record a jab and the next-due date works itself out. Who's coming due shows on your dashboard, and a reminder can go out on its own — in your words, only within the hours you set. That's the bit that pays for the software.
Will it stop an unvaccinated dog coming into boarding?
It reads the boosters against your protocol at check-in and tells you at the door, before the dog is in with twenty others. It also refuses outright to put two dogs in the same run on the same night. Those are the two mistakes that cost real money, so they're handled in the software rather than left to whoever is on the desk.
