Online booking
Online booking
A page you send customers to, where they pick a free time and give four details. It arrives as a request; you accept it and it becomes a real booking with the customer and pet already created.

What Online booking does
Half the people who want to book you cannot ring during your opening hours, because they are at work at the same time you are. They message you at nine in the evening instead, and you answer it at seven the next morning, and by then they have booked somebody else. This is a link you put in your Instagram bio and your Google listing: they pick a time that is genuinely free, give you four things, and it lands in front of you.
Capabilities
Inside Online booking
01
Four fields, not a form
Their name, their number, the pet's name, and a time. Breed, species and notes sit behind an optional link. A long form at nine in the evening on a phone is a form nobody finishes, and you can ask the rest when the dog is in front of you.
02
Only times you can actually do
The same availability the diary uses — opening hours, shifts, approved leave and existing bookings. Not a copy of that logic, the same one, so the page can never offer a slot the diary would then refuse.
03
Nothing goes in your diary uninvited
What arrives is a request. You accept it, and only then does it become an appointment. A stranger on the internet does not get to write into your Saturday.
04
Accepting does the typing
One press creates the customer, the pet and the appointment, and drops you on the booking to fill in the rest. A returning customer is matched on their phone number, so a regular who books online does not become a second record with a second vaccination history.
05
You decide what is bookable
Grooming online but the vet room by phone, if that is how you work. How far ahead people can book, and how little notice you will take. Turn the whole thing off and the address shows nothing at all.
06
No account, for them or you
No password to reset, no app to install, nothing for you to administer. A customer of a grooming salon will not make an account to book a haircut for a dog, and asking them to is where online booking stops being used.

Works with
Look up
One search box that takes a pet's name, the owner's name, a phone number, a microchip or any reference — and puts that animal's whole history on one screen.
Appointments
One diary for grooming, boarding, daycare and the vet room, with reminders that go out on their own and a calendar invite the customer can actually add.
Grooming
A board of who is in, who is on the table and who is ready, with prices that already know the breed, photos on the file, and commission that adds itself up.
